看到很多影评都说这部电影讲的是保持童心的重要性，我却觉得也许还别有深意。电影中也点出：He exists as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exist.
那些无限的资源，如人的生命活力、爱心、创造力，或许不像有限的资源，如财富、权力、名望那样看得见、摸得着，以至于一些人拒绝承认它们的存在和意义，可是，这些看上去轻飘飘、甚至是根本不可见的东西，却同样是须臾不可缺失的，否则后果将不堪设想，就像电影中说的：There would be no childlike faith then, no poetry, no romance to make tolerable this existence. The most real things in the world are those that neither children nor men can see.
圣诞老人在这里的确是一个虚拟形象，它其实是爱心和美好的代言人，引导着儿童和成人要去赌爱的存在，赌美好的东西一定会胜利，赌人类能够获得救赎，赌终极关怀值得赞美，而这也正是艺术作品的意义所在——Only faith, poetry, love, romance, can push aside that curtain and view and picture the supernal beauty and glory beyond.
