也许剧情有点突兀和夸张，但是确实说明了很多，并且是一个让人随着Jenna伤心无助的故事，表情和表演虽然夸张但是很到位，她的紧张僵硬，她的恐惧无助，她的无奈隐忍，她的机械屈服，每一个奇怪的冥想奇怪的派的名字，派就是她最美好的生活但是她的生活却是一张不怎么美味的派。一个控制欲嫉妒心强的男人有多么的可怕我算是见识到了，神经质任性强迫，逼着别人给自己自己认为合理的解释，当他需要时要求别人复述出每一句话，强迫别人交出所有的辛苦工作挣得的钱后大言不惭“I have given you everything,you don't need anything more”。Jenna确实很软弱，用了无数无力的无言的抗议方式，把钱藏到各个角落藏得那么多以至于这些零钱可以买下摄像机，寄希望于派的比赛，逃走后编出言不由衷的谎话，最后面对苦难打算逃离，最后一刻变得刚强了起来，送出了最后一个派，选择了更大的幸福和未来的寄托而不是伤害。这对于最后一个选择的评论可能是为了引导大众正确价值观“affair hurts others”其实她和一个理解自己的人在一起共同抚养Little Lulu会有更多的欢笑，也许有阴影有负罪感觉得自己活在那个信任的眼神放出的怨恨里，但是人都是向前看的人都是为了更好的生活，为什么我们局限着不能追求呢？只是新的问题总在更深入的理解后产生的，第一眼的完美也许会变成噩梦，比如那个控制男。结局虽然不是王子公主过上了幸福生活，可最后Joe's pie变成了lulu's，更鲜亮的颜色，明黄天蓝嫩绿的侍女服，，稚嫩的童声说着BYE，色调温馨的晚霞中母子手拉手回家，蹒跚蹦跳的步子和远远的未来也是美好结局了。
