In the old days, I have never take music serious. Since I open the music app just because I want to do something to spare my time or to cure my sadness mood. Whatever, it just a method that I used to make fun of myself. It worked everytime and it do can comfort me or make me happy.
Just a couple of days ago, I go out to see the "lalaland" with my friend. There is a scene that the actor told the actress that he is playing the serious music. All the people in the theatre, including the actress, were laughing. It seems wierd that people take music serious. Maybe you can do it in a serious way, like a singer can cooperate with a music company to create a popular music to make money. It can be serious in this way. But, a serious serious, just seems wierd.
Yeah, it just recalls me about the Bob Dylan has won the Nobel Prize last year, and everybody got shocked. That's acceptable because merely people take it serious. When you talk about the music, people just thought it is a way to enjoy oneself or sth else, have nothing about "serious".
I mean, it may related to a perspective that we treat things that we don't know.
I don't really know something about the music, so I could not take it serious. When I listening jazz, blues or contrysides, these labels means nothing to me. I just enjoy the melody. I have never tried to understood the culture behind it. The meaning of one kind of music.
Well, when I saw this documentory video, it's really astonished me. I suddenly understood something about the meaning of this kind of music. The emotion, the story that the singer want to convey. It's real and explicit.
