As a contemporary representative of Australia movie industry,George miller is famous for its movie,the storyline is pretty simple.The world is in chaos in the future because the shortage of the petroleum,and the different kind of people gathers together to fight for the resources.Max is one of them,but the difference is that he just fight for himself,for what he thinks is right.The same lonely person and the same people who want to save the world by their own,max really has so many similarities with travis in taxi driver.But what a pity,mad max is just a cult movie,its emphasis is focus on the future's fantastic visional world.Maybe the character role shaping is impressive in every aspects,but as the film itself,it lacks of the concentrated reflection of social meaning.
