舞蹈也好,体育也好,音乐也好,任何的竞技运动都是从很小的时候开始日复一日,年复一年地练习练习练习,别人轻松愉快的童年你没有。
You repeat until you become the champion. What's next? You will keep repeating the same routine to stay in the throne until someone beats you. It's boring, it's terrifying.
This is a documentary about Sergei Polunin, an extremely talented dancer, who enjoyed fame at a young age as Royal Ballet’s youngest principal dancer and then got so emotionally destroyed by his parents' divorce, he gave up his career in the UK and went to Russia for a new adventure in classical ballet. Eventually he wanted to give up dancing entirely and filmed a dancing video with the song"take me to church"as his au revior gift to his fans, which took him to a new level of international fame. Whether or not he will resume dancing remains an open question, but he finally accept who he is.
I personally enjoy the film very much, unexpectedly. So much that i took a few pages of notes while watching it. His talents, his hard working, his dedication, his character, all of these makes the film so enjoyable and inspiring.
Recommend to those who aspire to be a dancer!
