更美好的事 第四季

单身娘带着三个青春期的少女。女司机问：女孩们的爹呢？娘轻描淡写答：you tell me!

最后一集给我的触动无以名状：

小女儿Duke在街上看到时髦靓丽的老奶奶，忍不住前去搭话。老奶奶讲：

I‘ve known many good men. They gave me music, love, (oh...) danger, ideas, advantures... It shaped me. But at the end of a day, I prefer being alone. Being alone and being able to feel good with yourself — that's the ticket.

Duke说，您真美。老奶奶回：one compliment from a woman is worth a thousand compliments from a man.

Duke: You know what my mom says about men? —— It's someone else's problem.

Duke抬头之后老奶奶就已消失不见。不知道她遇见的是路人，还是自己。

Sam (孩子的娘）: ... I got my period when I was 12. I actually felt it was a cool thing, like my body has the ability to do something incredible, like I was a part of something bigger than just myself. I was now considered a woman.

But what I didn't realize then was that to be a woman in the world is to be built up and then let down. They'd cut us, or sell us or marry us off. You're primed and you're prepped and abused and adored and harassed and worshipped.

And then... it all stops. All of it. We even age out of the bad things, like being fetishized or diminished, or talked down to. It's even worse. You're invisible. And you're literlly left hunched over and alone, with Santa's belly and a beard to poot, walking around, shringking, thinking: "what just happened?"

Phyllis（孩子的祖母）有美丽的身体。用男性的话来说：有和她年龄不相称的身体。她喜欢裸泳，Sam经常得听到邻居们对自己母亲抱怨。

第十集的时候，Sam突然放下了所有的包袱，和母亲一起裸泳。

Out to the sea, the answers are in the water. It's where we come from, and where we always need to go back to.

另一边的三个女儿在海边游玩嬉闹，玩累了吹着海风发呆，这种情绪，好像电影《The Graduate》的最后幕，那么坚定地知道自己是谁，面对未知，却又各怀心思。

那年夏天那个在海边头发湿湿的自己，担心自己的鲁莽。

这部剧的男人和丈夫们通通不知道哪里去了，只有偶尔碰面的gay友，handyman, ex... 所有男子的角色全部无足轻重，只展现了星星点点的回忆和不得已的生活交集。

（前面季的故事我目前还不知道，大概只了解剧作背景——第四季是作为导演+演员的Pamela没有Louis CK只后单干的一季，完全做了自己。你问我为啥不从第一季开始看？我喝晕了以为我看的就是第一季，一气呵成欲罢不能看到第七集了才发剧情和网上的评论和演职员表都对不上号。。。）

Pamela和Lousi CK都有种本事，把脑袋里黑白灰线条的故事和经验论涂上色，加上情绪跃然屏幕，让你忍不住跟着称奇。这种创作能量，无可匹敌。

最后一幕引起异常舒适和解脱。Sam对前夫说: 我正在原谅你。但这么做不是为了你, 是为了我自己，是为了我的生活，为了我今后的身心健康舒适， 和为了我的女儿们。（I am forgiving you, but not for you. It's for me, for my future mental and physical health. And for my daughters. ）

This is a life when women don't need men but still doing f*cking awesome.

整季语言很平实甚至是充满细节里的戏谑，每天的片段再日常不过，背景音乐却非常出彩，让这部剧的情绪总是这么恰到主题。第六集的gay gay婚礼献歌怎么可以做到的这么温柔动人？！前面几集也各有各的看点，但是最后一集实在是太empowering.

从来没有看到过一部影视这样讲女性主义，诙谐里有女孩们的成长和坚定，有母亲和老母亲的孩子气，每一个和自己的和解在日常小事里娓娓道来，在硬实和吐槽里强大，动容又充满力量。不知道哪一刻就要给观众melt down。

就像主持人说的：MY MIND IS BLOWN OPEN.
