Plot Summary:The familiar story of William Tell furnishes the basis for this one. William is shown \"sassing\" the governor and being made to shoot an apple off his son's head to secure his freedom. He attempts to substitute a pumpkin, the son eats one apple and an apple-hawk gets the other. He finally succeeds and the governor tries his hand, but the arrow is bent and boomerangs, striking him in the trousers.
