Plot Summary:In thirty-five minutes Hollis Frampton explores matter and space through a series of fast-motion scenes showing different locations. First, he films a meadow or field with sweeping views of plants and grass. As the film progresses, Frampton then introduces the viewer to fast-motion shots of the Salisbury Cloister, repeated several times, films a shot down the Brooklyn Bridge in the manner of a pedestrian, moves in circles around the circumference of Stonehenge, etc. Lastly, he films scenes in a cornfield, moving through the field rapidly but never quite reaching the edge. The film is silent save an echoing voice reciting the Chinese alphabet.
