Plot Summary:A bootblack cannot earn enough money for his ill mother's breakfast until his two comrades, a dog and a monkey, originate a trap for muddying men's shoes. A cop who takes exception to this method of garnering the shekels, brings the mother a breakfast, and later, when she mysteriously recovers, evinces a fondness for hugging her.
