Plot Summary:In evaluating his life and not liking what he saw, a man quickly and radically changes from what western society considers a conventional life to what it labels "hippie". This change is both physical and mental. He feels his new perspective on life has brought him closer to his wife and his two children. As being a hippie is considered counter-culture, he and his family are increasingly being isolated in society, even from certain old friends and acquaintances. Even at his trucking job where he has worked for over ten years and where the owners who used to treat him like family, the relationship has changed solely because of how they perceive his new look and attitude. One of the most important aspects of the change is in how to deal with his children and whether their marijuana use is a double standard as they have taught their children that illicit drug use is wrong.
