Plot Summary:Lorenzo is an eighty-four-year-old widower who is losing his sight and lives with his female dog, Luca, who became his guide. During most of his life he was the best road paver in his town and now rejects the idea of having to depend on people. One day Luca dies, and Lorenzo has to start a road of grief in the company of his neighbor and an old colleague, so he can deal with the death of his loved one.
