Plot Summary:Betty Kimble has three lovers and has great difficulty in trying to decide which to choose for a partner for life. She receives a letter from her uncle telling her that if she does not marry a man who is a Mason that he will ignore her in his will. Carl Fisher, one of the suitors, happens to be a Mason and he has always been Betty's favorite, but she is in a quandary as to what excuse to offer the other two and finally decides to show them the letter that she has received form her uncle. Both the dandies realize they will lose her unless they become Masons and hasten to the nearest jewelry store and purchase Masonic badges. They shortly afterward arrive at the house and with great pride point to the emblem which they wear and humorous situations arise as each one thinks the other is giving signs. Carl comes into the room and after watching the two supposed Masons, inquires what they are trying to do. Each proudly points to his emblem. Carl accuses them of being impostors and shows them the emblem which a real Mason would wear and walks out of the room with Betty.
