Plot Summary:Kid Kennedy, after serving a light sentence for burglary, resolves to go straight. When his old pal, Spider Morrissey, suggests to him that he join him in making a rich haul already planned, he refuses and Spider goes about the job alone. Kennedy reads of it and knows it is Morrissey's work. He goes to his old pal's rooms, removes the stolen jewels and that night returns them to their owner. A detective, suspicious of Morrissey, searches his den in vain. The next morning the newspapers tell how the jewels have been found on a dressing table, \"evidently misplaced.\" Morrissey realizes that Kennedy has saved him from arrest by the detective. He goes to his friend, and tells him that he has decided to lead an honest life.
