Plot Summary:A chronic and implacable vendetta between two families--the Fourtounakis and the Vrodakis--tears apart an entire Cretan village, as both clans stubbornly refuse to reconcile. However, to make matters worse, the unexpected arrival of the Vrodakis' only son, Manousos, coupled with his unforeseen and potent fascination for the Fourtounakis only daughter, Katerinio, threaten to rekindle memories of hostilities once more.
