Plot Summary:At the end of June 2017, I started to record a young man, who planned to become a monk in 2017, lived together with him for nearly one year and filmed with follow to record his status transition. Before going to the temple, he decided to finish a pilgrimage in Qinghai and Gansu. However, his parents disagreed him to be a monk, his grandmother died, either his master, how his life going on? I didn't put much emphasis on the discussion of his choice to be a monk, but attempted to find a relationship between personal ideal life and contradictory real life, including family opposition and accidental experiences. The film is a record of an awkward condition of life, to reflect young people's fractions under fickle environment as well as dilemmas in realizing self-value.
