Plot Summary:A couple of Englishmen reach the middle of the earth accompanied by their guides. Here they find huge caverns covered with stalactites with gigantic mushrooms springing up spontaneously. Elephants innumerable, huge frogs, crocodiles and other monsters appear suddenly, and the travelers flee in tenor. After passing through streams of molten lava and fire they manage to return as if by miracle to the face of the earth.
