Plot Summary:HONDROS follows the life and career of famous war photographer Chris Hondros by exploring the poignant and often surprising stories behind this award-winning photojournalist's best-known photos. Driven by a commitment to bear witness to the wars of our time after the events of 9/11, Chris was among the first in a new generation of war photographers since Vietnam. HONDROS explores the complexities inherent in covering more than a decade of conflict, while trying to maintain a normal life. It also examines the unknowable calculus involved in making split-second life and death decisions -- before, during and after his photos were made. Chris was killed in Libya in 2011, but he left a lasting impact on his profession that is still felt today.

片子讲了整个男主的战地摄影生涯,素材主要来源于各种访谈和男主拍摄的图片影像,稍显平淡,男主最后为事业献身令人惋惜
终于看了一直想要看的片子。虽然洪德罗斯在片中的形象很单面，但是还是为这样的生命而惊叹。不过有时我也会想也许像他这样的人就是这样简单的。目标明确，严格自律。
致敬。原来战地记者的生存现状也是越来越差了，各种极端的思想衍生出极端手段剔除异己。想到之前被斩首的，大概也是记者吧？哎
